Book Review: Words in Deep Blue

I don’t have a lot of words to describe how much I loved, loved, loved this novel. It is about books and words and life and loss – it is about seizing the moment and choosing your future, and living your life to the fullest. That is what it was, to me.

Henry and Rachel are best friends, but Rachel is also in love with Henry. Unfortunately, there is Amy – Henry’s “soul mate”, and she has blinded Henry into thinking he needs to be more than he is in order to win her affections. It’s a classic “cheer for the underdog” story.

Rachel moves away and drops contact with Henry. But, something fatal happens in Rachel’s life, and she finds herself back in the company of her best friend, and once more, back in love.

This is one of those stories that I know I’ll have to read again because it was just so dang beautiful. For now, I recommend this read to all.
